HiPIMS-technology
HiPIMS (High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering) results from the further development of the sputtering process and combines the advantages of all common coating technologies. Like the sputtering process, HiPIMS creates very smooth, droplet-free and low-stress surfaces through a very compact layer structure in addition to the high layer density in combination with the best adhesion, which are at the same time particularly hard and extremely tough.
In addition, deposited HiPIMS layers grow extremely homogeneously, so that even small and very complex tool geometries can be coated with an almost uniform layer thickness.
As an additional service beyond the pure coating process, we offer you the entire service chain from a single source.
This includes the stripping of tools made of HSS and solid carbide, the professional pre- and post-treatment of the tools in the form of targeted cutting edge rounding and the polishing of the chip grooves up to the final quality control.
